What are the benefits of collagen induction therapy /medical micro-needling?
- Natural regeneration (chemical free)
- Minimal downtime / excellent convenience
- Non-surgical procedure with effective clinical outcome
How is it carried out?
Topical anaesthetic is used to numb the skin for a period of approximately 20-30 minutes to make the procedure comfortable and pain free. An advanced micro-medical skin needling device is then used to stimulate the skin in order to enact the skin’s own regeneration and repair processes.
Procedure takes 30-45 minutes per session.
How can does the treatment work to help with my stretch marks?
Collagen induction therapy will involve a series of fine needles to penetrate into the deeper layer of the skin inducing micro channels of injury with the medical grade device. This will then lead to the subsequent increase in collagen production, and eventually help with the improvement of appearance of the stretch marks.
Is there anything I need to do after the procedure?
Immediately after your treatment, most clients will experience what look like a sunburn, and feel of tightness of the skin. This is to be expected and would usually resolve within 24 hours.
When can I start to notice the results?
Collagen induction therapy makes use of the body’s own repair system. Natural regeneration can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of rejuvenation and repair can be seen and this continues over a period of months.
How many treatments will I need?
We usually recommend at least 3-6 sessions before optimum results are seen.
Am I suitable for the treatment?
Collagen induction therapies are suitable for any age, skin colour, tone and texture.
Can I talk to someone about the procedure?
